Subject: 10 Virtues to Tackle in 2015

We all want to see the children in our lives become happier, healthier and holier. Whether you are a parent, educator or volunteer, part of this mentoring journey is to teach children about what is good and help them to cultivate a desire for it. Virtues, of course, are a repeated action that helps us to grow in holiness.

The following are 10 virtues that every adult should strive to recognize and foster in children.

As we approach a new year with new resolutions, we hope this list can serve as a guide as you help children mature in wisdom and grace.

Bonus: The virtue of obedience is the gateway through which knowledge enters the mind of a child. By learning to obey, children will be better positioned to learn about the benefits and practice of the other virtues.
