When was your last date?
Perhaps there was a time in your relationship when dating came easily. The ideas flowed, blocking out time was almost effortless, anticipation kept you awake at night, and the days before a scheduled date seemed to pass by slowly. Now... 5, 10, 15+ years into your relationship, perhaps dating feels stale, laborious, and maybe even non-existent.

Inject some new energy into dating your loved one!

1. Take off the pressure. Dates don't have to be time consuming, expensive, and momentous. It's about spending intentional time with your partner.

2.   Recalibrate your expectations. Likely you've changed and your partner has changed. What does your relationship need now? Consider activities that will enable you to discover each other again, have fun and laugh, relax, or just be together.

3. Try something new with your partner.   Here are 52 ideas, one for each week of the year.

March Social Media Recap

A letter from our VP: The New York Times most read story of 2016 recently popped back up on the most popular list again, nearly a year after in first ran last May. As is often the case for the most popular story, the topic was love and relationships: "Why You Will Marry the Wrong [...]...»

Have you ever woken up one morning, nothing is actually wrong, but you feel like you've got a huge weight on your shoulders?  Or that your body aches, even though you darn well know you didn't exercise the night before?  Or that it seems to take much more concentration to smile than usual?  We all [...]...»

Counseling seems scary. But here's a secret that could protect your future marriage- it's not scary! See, it isn't counseling itself that is nerve-racking (though seeking help does often come with a stigma), but rather, it is the knowledge that at that counseling appointment, you will have to be vulnerable. You will be asked to [...]...»

Exciting Times Ahead at the 2017 NARME Summit!

Each year at the NARME Summit, we believe having the opportutnity to network with other attendees is just as important as taking in the educational opportunities.  We will be taking advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery Denver has to offer and hosting this year's networking event at Washington Park, one of the largest and most popular parks in the city.

Don't miss out on a night full of fun and outdoor games while getting the chance to meet new people from around the country doing the same work to strengthen families...you never know what connections you will make! Dinner will be catered by one of Denver's favorite food trucks, Maine Street BBQ...delicious bbq with an east coast twist!

Sign up during registration, the cost is just $20.

If you haven't checked out the broad array of training, and workshop opportunities available at this year's Summit,  Click here to check out the Summit

New to the plenary line up are Hal Runkel, and Sam Himelstein.  They along with Michele Weiner Davis, Scott Stanley, John Van Epp, Morgan Cutlip, Jim Thomas and others will be taking center stage to bring us the latest research and information to help us in our efforts to strengthen families in our communities.
